Frequently asked

How long does setup take?

Most schools are live within one term. We import your existing lists, clean up duplicates and prepare the invitations. Your staff approve the wording and we handle the rest.

Do alumni pay anything?

No. The school pays an annual subscription, upfront. Alumni join and use Alumnis free of charge.

How does Alumnis handle POPIA?

Every alum confirms their consent when they claim their profile, and chooses what to share and how the school may contact them. The school keeps a dated record of each consent, and alumni can update or withdraw it at any time. See our privacy policy for detail.

Can we start small?

Yes. A pilot with one matric year is the most common starting point. You can move to the whole-school plan at any time.

Who owns the alumni data?

Your school does. Alumnis processes alumni information on the school's behalf. If you leave, you can export your data and we delete our copy, as set out in our terms and conditions.
